Two lanes of Interstate 270 south at Roberts Road on the west side were closed because of a crash Thursday evening.
Police said that a man crashed a pick-up truck into the median and flipped over a fence.
The man, who was not immediately identified, was ejected from the vehicle and taken to Mount Carmel West Hospital, where he was recovering from his injuries.
It was not immediately known when the lanes would reopen.
