The Columbus Division of Police announced the results of a prostitution sting Wednesday.
Sgt. Ken Tischler said that the sting was the result of concerns from citizens on the west side.
“This is the number one complaint we get from the citizens,” Tischler said.
On Wednesday, law enforcement arrested 24 people for soliciting.
The operation was a joint effort with Columbus Division of Police, the Franklin County Sheriff's Special Investigations Unit and Columbus Police VICE units.
"We decided to try over a couple of days to put a dent in the prostitution out here,” Tischler said.
Similiar stings on Tuesday and Aug. 30 resulted in 20 soliciting arrests.
