AEP Ohio is launching a program to help enlighten customers about responsible energy use.
According to the company, the Home Energy Savings Tour is a mobile exhibit that features a 38-foot-long bus designed to teach people ways to save money on their monthly energy costs.
AEP Ohio officials said that unplugging appliances, using energy-efficient light bulbs, and setting computers on "sleep" mode are things that can help save energy.
Officials also said to check homes for cracks and leaks as winter approaches.
