Special Information:
Expect scattered showers and a few thunderstorms today with highs in the low to mid 80s. Just like Saturday, the showers and storms will be off and on throughout the day. Showers will be likely tonight and Labor Day too. You probably will want to keep your holiday weekend plans indoors this year.
The moisture is associated with the remnants of Isaac and will bring a wide range in rainfall totals due to the scattered nature of the showers and storms. Rain totals through Labor Day will likely be between 1-2 inches in most locations, with locally higher amounts where thunderstorms are found. The latest computer models indicate the showers and storms will stick around Tuesday and possibly Wednesday too.
Alerts: None
Inconvenient Weather: Scattered showers and a few storms today.
Planning Your Day: Off and on showers and storms will be possible all day long. Keep an umbrella handy if you’re headed to any outdoor events.
