The Genoa Township Police, along with Westerville and Sunbury police and the Ohio State Highway Patrol, will hold a sobriety checkpoint Saturday night.
According to Genoa Township Police, the checkpoint will be held between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. at 7083 state Route 3 in Westerville.
Officials wanted to remind those who planned to consume alcohol to plan for a designated driver or to make other arrangements.
Advance publicity about the checkpoints serves as a deterrent, according to the task force.
