The Franklin County DUI Task Force will be checking for drivers under the influence of drugs and alcohol in Hilliard Friday night and early Saturday morning.
The checkpoint will be held at Hilliard-Rome Road and Richlanne Drive from 9 pm. Friday through 3 a.m. Saturday.
Task Force officials wanted to remind those who planned to consume alcohol to plan for a designated driver or to make other arrangements.
Advance publicity about the checkpoints serves as a deterrent, according to the task force.
