A 13-year-old girl said that a woman assaulted her at a north Columbus bus stop.
Zy'Lique Murphy said that she was waiting for the school bus along Marcia Drive when a woman on a bike confronted her.
"She started getting in my face and I had said she should use anger management or something," Murphy said. "She started getting in my face, doing this, and then she slapped me."
Murphy said that when she attempted to defend herself, the woman got on top of her and choked her. Witnesses moved in to pull the woman off the girl.
"When they had to get her off me, she was like, 'I'm going to kill you when I see you again,'" Murphy said.
Murphy said that the woman was around 40-years-old, but did not give a detailed description. Witnesses said that the woman fled on a blue bicycle.
