The Ohio delegation will have prime seats to watch Paul Ryan speak on Wednesday night.

Ryan will be the keynote speaker as the vice presidential nominee for the Republicans.

Ohio Sen. Rob Portman will speak earlier in the evening. Portman was on the shortlist as a possible running mate for Mitt Romney.

Others speaking on Wednesday include former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Sen. John McCain

Ryan was photographed in the afternoon testing microphones and the Teleprompter in advance of the speech.

Romney's running mate told a TV station in Milwaukee that people "are going to like what they see," because Republicans are offering what he calls "specific, bold solutions to get people back to work."

The Wisconsin congressman asked to be shown where the delegations from his home state and neighboring Michigan will sit. He said he'd point to them during his address.
