Police officers said that they found a teenager hiding in a woman's closet early Wednesday morning.
The woman told police that she and her daughter were sleeping in their Labelle Drive home when they heard loud banging noises around 5 a.m.
The woman called police, who kicked in the door to find the teenager hiding. Officers said that they believed the teenager was attempting to pull off a burglary and did not realize someone was home.
Investigators said that the teenager broke into the home through a lower level window.
The teenager, whose identity was not released, was taken into custody. There were no reports of injuries.
