Jury selection was under way for a Hocking County man accused in the kidnapping and murder of his daughter-in-law.

William Inman was in court in Logan as his attorneys and prosecutors worked to find the men and women who will decide his fate.

Inman is accused of being the mastermind behind the kidnapping and murder of Summer Inman.

William Inman’s son, William Inman Jr., and wife, Sandra Inman, also were accused in Summer Inman’s death.

William Inman Jr. was sentenced to life in prison earlier this summer, and Inman’s wife, Sandra Inman, took a plea deal and will spend 15 years to life in prison.

Court officials said it could take days or weeks to narrow the list of 350 potential jurors to 12 with four alternates.
