Former Soccer Team Treasurer Indicted For Theft

A former soccer team secretary and treasurer was indicted in connection with stealing funds from the organization.

Timothy G. Thompson faces one charge of theft for allegedly stealing from the Reynoldsburg Soccer Association, a private non-profit organization.

Thompson, 48, is accused of stealing more than $14,000 from the organization between October 2009 and June 2010.

According to Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien, the theft was discovered when parents brought up concerns about billing.
