Mother Stopped For Drunken-Driving Admits To Leaving Children Home Alone

A mother faced child endangering charges after telling troopers that she left her children home alone to go get her cell phone.

According to the Gahanna Police Department, Kathryn Sheehan was stopped by Ohio State Highway Patrol Troopers at about 2 a.m. on Saturday, near state Route 750 and U.S. Route 23, for allegedly driving while drunk.

During the stop, Sheehan, 37, told troopers that she left her children, ages 8 and 4, alone at her home in Gahanna.
