Woman Arrested In Connection With Hoax Bomb, Letter At Port Columbus

A woman was arrested on Wednesday after authorities said that she planted a fake improvised explosive device and letter at Port Columbus International Airport in early August.

According to the Columbus Regional Airport Authority Police Department, Klara Renay Bias was arrested in Downtown Columbus and was charged with a fourth-degree felony of inducing panic.

Authorities said that Bias, 56, planted the fake bomb and letter on Aug. 6. The package prompted traffic to be diverted but had no affect on flights.
