Police Search For Man Accused Of Robbing Bank Inside Grocery Store

Police were searching for a man who they said robbed a bank inside of a Westerville grocery store Tuesday evening.

According to Westerville police, a man robbed the Fifth Third Bank, located inside the Kroger Store at 55 W. Shrock Rd., at about 5:30 p.m.

Police said that the man, described as white, in his late 20s and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a gray hat with a blue logo on it, did not have a weapon.

The Kroger store remained open.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
