A former Columbus police officer charged with sex crimes with two teenage girls could have more victims, according to investigators.

Todd L. Smith, who served as a school resource officer at Centennial High School during the 2011-12 school year, is accused of sexting with two students and having a sexual relationship with one of them.

Smith, 49, faces two counts of attempted production of sexually explicit conduct of a minor and one count of coercion and enticement of a minor for sexual activity. Smith pleaded not guilty to the charges on Monday.

According to court documents, FBI agents believe that Smith could have been receiving nude pictures from at least one other female.
