Pataskala residents received warnings that they have three weeks to pay the debts. Those who do not could end up in mayor's court.
Police will be rounding up residents with outstanding fines -- from misdemeanor traffic citations to first time OVIs.
"If you're on the list, and we know where you're at, we're going to come," Pataskala Police Chief Bruce Brooks said.
Police said that they would visit offenders' homes and workplaces.
The money will go to the general fund and will helps clerks clear up the books.
The deadline for those who owe is Sept. 11.
Those wishing to pay their debt before the roundup should call 740-927-3361.
