Father-To-Be Says He Found Bed Bug In Hospital Room

It was supposed to be one of the happiest days of their lives, but a couple said that it was forced to change hospital rooms three times because of filth.

Brad Wilson said that he and his wife were at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center on Sunday because their daughter was arriving two months early.

He said that he rested his foot on a hospital room sofa chair and got a scare.

“I take my foot and slide it under the cushion, and I pull it back out, and it’s a bug on my foot,” Wilson said.

Wilson said that he put the bug on the window ledge and captured it with his soda bottle cap.

 A nurse came in and put tape over the bug and smashed it against the windowsill, Wilson said.

Wilson said that he and his wife were forced to move to two other rooms.

A spokesman for the Wexner Medical Center said that they were not certain the bug was a bed bug.

He said that the hospital apologized to the family and called an exterminator and would address housekeeping issues.
