A memorial to honor victims and survivors of the Holocaust will be constructed on the southwest side of the Ohio Statehouse grounds.
The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board decided on the location for the privately funded memorial this week.
Donations will be used to create the memorial, which could cost as much as $2 million.
The review board still has to select an artist to design the memorial.
Crews could break ground as soon as next spring.
