Police found an extensive marijuana growing operation inside an apartment at a complex that caught fire early Tuesday morning.
According to police, $198,000 was seized from the apartment, located at 6224 Deewood Court North.
Thirteen marijuana plants were also found, along with 1 gram of methamphetamine and $1,035 in cash.
Police said that they stumbled upon the growing operation while battling a large fire that displaced 11 families at the complex.
Charges were pending against the two unidentified residents of the apartment.
