Scammers are targeting Ebay and Amazon customers.

Some customers have received emails from a sender purporting to be from Amazon.com or Ebay stating that orders have been canceled.

Often the email will contain a link to website that looks like Amazon or Ebay, but is not controlled by them. The website may ask you for your Amazon or Ebay username and password or try to install unwanted software on your computer in an attempt to steal your personal information or access your computer.

The message may also include attachments, which typically contain "malware."

Experts said that if you receive a message like this, just deleted it and your information and computer are safe.

Anyone with questions about their Ebay or Amazon accounts should go straight to the respective websites.
