A man faced charged of possessing child pornography and improper sexual contact with a minor after meeting a 13-year-old girl from the Internet.

Andrew Cureton is accused of first making contact with the girl, who is from Franklin, Penn., while playing an online game. Investigators said that the two exchanged nude pictures.

According to investigators, the girl, whose identity was not released, stole her grandparents’ vehicle and drove to central Ohio for a sexual encounter with Cureton.

Police used the vehicle’s onboard GPS to track the vehicle to Lancaster Avenue in Reynoldsburg, where they said that they found Cureton and the girl engaged in a sexual act in the backseat of the vehicle.

According to police, the girl admitted to stealing the car and driving herself more than 250 miles to meet Cureton for the sexual encounter.

Cureton is jailed and charged with improper sexual contact with a minor and pandering obscenity. More charges could follow.

The girl was returned to her parents in Pennsylvania and could face charges.

“One of our main concerns, obviously, is to make sure there are no other juvenile victims out there,” Reynoldsburg Det. Brian Marvin said. “So, we’re going to research all the computers, all the phones, try to collect as much evidence as we can.”
