Police said that a woman was threatening neighbors with a gun on the northeast side on Thursday.
Police closed Clybourne Road at Cleveland Avenue while they worked to subdue the situation.
Authorities said that the woman, whose identity was not released, surrendered peacefully to officers and asked to be transported to a mental health facility. There were no immediate reports of injuries or evacuations.
