Fire investigators said that a lightning strike is likely to blame for a Thursday morning house fire.
Firefighters responded to a home, located along Bluegrass Way, around 5:15 a.m.
The homeowners recalled seeing a flash of bright light before hearing a loud sound. A man inside the home compared the sound to artillery fire.
Firefighters said that they believed the fire started inside a wall near the roof of the home. There were no reports of injuries.
