A woman discovered a cell phone recording video of her in a restroom.
The phone was found hidden behind a trash can in a public restroom at the Urban Active gym on Tanglewood Park Boulevard in Hilliard on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the police report, the woman told officers that she and another woman were captured on the phone's video camera.
Mais Khourdaji, and Urban Active member, said that she would not change inside the locker room until her privacy was assured.
“The idea of it is just frightening,” Khourdaji said. “It makes me very uncomfortable.”
An Urban Active spokesperson said that a police report was filed and that the incident was now in police hands.
"Urban Active makes every effort to ensure that their members are able to exercise in a safe environment," Urban Active officials said in a statement Thursday. "We take these matters seriously and shall always take the proper measures in contacting the authorities."
No arrests have been made.
