Athens police said on Thursday that it was not every day that two cases are solved within one hour of each other.
Police said that they arrested 21-year-old Jordan Bringman inside a home.
A resident called police, who then searched the home on Court Street and found Bringman hiding with $11 in stolen change.
The man now faces burglary and theft charges.
Less than an hour later, police arrested 20-year-old Ohio University student Saud Amar.
Amar is charged in connection with a burglary along West Union Street.
His came will go through Ohio University's disciplinary committee, which could decide to suspend or expel Amar based on the burglary charge.
