We made it into the 90s for the 7th time this month. That brings our total of 90-degree days for the year to 41. The record for 90-degree days in a year is 49 set back in 1936 and tied in 1955.

A weak cold front working across the state could touch off an isolated shower or two this afternoon and evening, but most locations will stay dry and very warm. Skies will become mostly cloudy tonight with a slight chance for a few showers as we head towards sunrise. Thursday will bring highs in the mid-80s, mostly cloudy skies with the possibility of a few showers and storms. Better chances for storms will come late in the day and overnight as a cold front heads our way. The Storm Prediction Center has placed central Ohio under a slight risk for severe storms Thursday into Friday. Showers and storms will be likely Friday morning and early afternoon. Highs will be noticeably cooler in the mid 70s.

So far, the weekend is looking very pleasant with highs staying in the 70s under partly to mostly sunny skies.
