Police were working to learn what led to a Wednesday morning shooting.
Police said that a man was shot at the BP gas station, located along East Main Street. A witness alerted police to the shooting just after 5 a.m.
The victim, whose identity was not released, was found at a nearby hotel. He was transported for medical attention and was expected to recover.
Police did not immediately release a description of the gunman.
