Township Trustee Accused Of Assaulting Wife’s Friend

A Licking County township trustee is accused of assaulting his wife’s male friend.

According to The Columbus Dispatch, Benjamin C. Hupp of Brownsville, is charged with misdemeanor assault, aggravated menacing and possessing a criminal tool.

Hupp, 28, allegedly pulled a gun on his wife’s male friend before hitting and kicking the man in the face.

Hupp serves as one of three elected trustees for Bowling Green Township in southern Licking County. He was elected in 2009, the Dispatch reported.
