Franklin Park Area Association- residents are encouraged to turn their porch lights on for the night at 8 p.m. to help promote Light Up the Night. In addition, residents are encouraged to report street and alley lights that may need maintenance to 311.columbus.gov or by calling 614-645-3111.

Powell – Village Green Park from 6:30-9 p.m.

Short North - Italian Village Park (corner of E. Hubbard and Kerr) from 8-9 p.m..

South Central Hilltop - South Ogden Avenue between Whitehead Road and West Mound Street (roughly 700 S. Ogden). (No hours listed)

URBAN LEAGUE SPONSORED EVENT - League's headquarters located at 788 Mount Vernon Avenue from 5-8 p.m.

Walnut Heights (SE Columbus) - Maybury Park at  7:45 p.m.

Westerville - 8/7/2012 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Ten block watches throughout the City will host block parties in their neighborhoods. Activities include dessert night, potlucks, hula hoop contest, music, limbo, tricycle races for teens, hoop shootout, balloon launches, flashlight walks, face painting, prize raffles, K-9 demonstrations, and visits from police officers and safety friends, including “Officer Friendly,” “PC: The Patrol Car,” and “McGruff.”
