Thieves Target Northwest Columbus Hotel Guests

Two men were taken into custody early Tuesday morning after multiple cars were broken into in hotel parking lots.

The men were accused of targeting vehicles of guests staying at the Drury Inn, La Quinta Suites and Hyatt Place, all located near Interstate 270 and Tuttle Crossing, around 2:30 a.m. When police arrived, they found multiple cars with windows broken.

Police tracked the men down near I-270 and state Route 33. The men were found to have stolen goods, including a laptop and GPS device, in their possession.

Investigators were working to return the stolen property. The identities of the men were not immediately released.
