Missing Columbus Boys Found Safe In Mo. After Taking BMW

Police tracked down two boys who took a parent's BMW with plans to travel to California.

Cole Francis Johnson and Raheem Harris, both 13, were last seen Friday night. Police said Saturday morning, Johnson took his mother's 2008 BMW 328XI and fled.

Investigators found that the boys had used a credit card near St. Louis. The boys were found in Kansas City, Mo. around 7 a.m. Monday.

KOTV reported that the boys were found along East Eighth Street and Grand Boulevard when the car ran out of gas. The boys were not injured. A plan for the boys' return was not immediately released.
