Police continued to search for a man who's been terrorizing the Hilltop neighborhood.
Police have dubbed the man the 'Hilltop Creeper' because he creeps into homes in the middle of the night.
He has hit at least 12 homes since December, with the most recent crime on July 14.
On Saturday, residents fought back by holding a crime watch block party at the Hoge Memorial Presbyterian Church, so they could speak to local law enforcement and address their concerns.
"The crime is outrageous. From people setting fires to garages, messing with cars, people walking in people's homes," Hilltop resident Jessica Lemaster said. "You just pray, that the person is caught and he won't break into more homes."
Firefighters, Columbus S.W.A.T. and the Franklin County Sheriff's Bomb Squad were all on hand to inform residents and answer questions.
"There have been a lot of people here today who had questions for the police liaison officer. This is a good time when you can meet face to face, rather doing it by email," Great Western Blockwatch member Jay McCallister said. "We're asking people to keep their porch lights on front and back, and make sure your doors and windows are locked."
Police are still looking for the 'Hilltop Creeper.'
