A high pressure system continues to build in the area today allowing for warmer temperatures. The warm temperatures mixed in with the moisture keeps Franklin and surrounding counties under an Air Quality Alert for tomorrow. The high pressure system is expected to weaken by the end of the week as a cold front will pass through around Saturday. This front will bring a chance of showers late Saturday, but the models seem to agree that the rain will hold off until Sunday.
