Investigators confirmed that they spent time searching a northeast Columbus home Thursday in connection with the death of a pregnant mother.
Detectives were seen removing a computer tower, laptop, camera and mouse from the home as well as a brown bag.
Deanna Ballman was found dead in the backseat of her car, parked near a wooded area near Bevelheimer Road on Wednesday. Family members filed a police report stating that Ballman disappeared after responding to a Craigslist ad.
The 23-year-old mother of two was expected to give birth to her third child in just a few weeks. Investigators said that her death was considered suspicious.
Investigators were awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of her death.
