Gas prices in central Ohio jumped again Thursday, inching closer to $4 a gallon.

Experts said that recent problems at refineries in Illinois and Texas have been blamed for the increases.

A refinery fire in Tulsa Oklahoma Thursday morning could also interrupt some gas supplies, and increase prices, according to officials.

According to AAA, the average price in Columbus for regular is $3.67, up from $3.18 last Thursday.
