Police are looking for two women who stole a one-of-a-kind item during a sidewalk sale on July 21.

Police said the two women came into LP Designs, located along North High Street, during a sidewalk sale held at the Short North block. Investigators said that the women worked together to steal a unique, signed ash bowl set valued at $300.

The store owner has surveillance video showing the two women in the act and has since then filed a police report. Police identified one of the women suspected in connection with the crime as Jane Schmitz.

Short North Block Watch Member’s alerted all retail stores in the area to keep a look-out on these two women.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Columbus Police Department’s non-emergency line at 614-645-454.
