The person who investigators said led them on a high speed-chase on Monday is now facing charges.
The chase occurred near Georgesville Road and Interstate 270 where Franklin County Sheriff’s Office deputies were led on a chase. Deputies said that the driver reached speeds up to 90 mph.
Investigators did not immediately explain what charges the driver would face. The driver’s identity was not immediately released.
According to deputies, the driver was suspected of using drugs and possibly alcohol. There were no injuries reported.
