Investigators were working to learn more information about a deadly Saturday night crash.
According to the Delaware Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Uriel Juarez Popoca was walking along the westbound lanes of U.S. Route 36, west of Africa road, when a driver in a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac struck him around 10:37 p.m.
Popoca, 22, was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the SUV was not injured during the crash.
Investigators said that it was not clear if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
