A child was struck by a vehicle on the west side Friday evening.
According to police, the child, estimated to be between 2 or 3 years old, was struck along Midland Avenue shortly after 6 p.m.
The child was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital and was expected to be OK.
The name and condition of the child were not immediately released.
The driver of the vehicle that allegedly struck the child stayed on the scene. Police said that the driver would not be charged.
