Lightning struck a Union County home and ignited a fire while the residents were inside Thursday afternoon.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office said that a lightning fire began at a resident’s home after lightning struck the house, located in the 14000 block of State Rd. in Ostrander.
People were home at the time of the incident but were able to get out OK.
