Alcohol Suspected Factor In Deadly Motorcycle Crash

Investigators said that they believed alcohol was a factor in a deadly motorcycle crash on Wednesday night.

According to the Delaware Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Rodney Rose was riding a motorcycle along state Route 229, west of Horshoe Road, when he drove off the road and struck a utility pole around 10:40 p.m.

Rose, 45, was pronounced dead on the scene. Investigators said that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The events leading to the crash were under investigation.
