Strong to severe storms will remain possible through sunset. Our biggest concerns are for damaging winds and large hail, although we can’t rule out an isolated tornado. Lingering showers and weaker storms should be out of the picture by midnight.
Friday will bring another shot at afternoon and evening storms. The Storm Prediction Center has placed central Ohio under a slight risk for severe storms tomorrow too. Saturday and Sunday will be mostly dry and comfortable with highs in the low to mid 80s.
ALERTS : Severe Thunderstorm Watches are in effect until 10:00 tonight. SPC has a Moderate Risk for Severe Storms over all of central Ohio today and a slight risk for tomorrow. Damaging winds and hail are the main threats.
