There's a Moderate Risk for severe weather later today and tonight with damaging winds the primary threat. A strong cold front will approach the area late today and tonight. Ahead of the front... very warm and humid conditions with highs in the middle 90s and heat index readings over 100. Could be another case of bad timing with storms developing in the extreme heat of the day and then moving to the east. Be alert to changing weather conditions later today.
