Neighbors said that surveillance cameras captured suspected southeast side vandals casing a vehicle.
Kelsey Crenshaw said that his was one of the 15 households targeted in the Kingston Crossing neighborhood. Someone used gold spray paint to mark his garage.
"It's a big pain because there's a process to get it off the garage door, and then driving around you see this kind of crazy stuff going on," Crenshaw said.
Isaac Thomas had to shell out hundreds of dollars to fix the side of his home after spray painting vandals left their marks.
"People came through and vandalized houses and they showed me a couple of garages that had spray paint on them, he had his car damaged and I just got my house fixed. There was spray paint on the side," Thomas said.
Neighbors said that they would step up their block watch patrols to keep the vandals from striking again.
