Man Uses Note To Rob Waffle House Employees

Police said that a man used a note to rob a northwest side Waffle House restaurant overnight Monday.

According to investigators, the robber walked into the restaurant, located near Roberts Road, and handed an employee a note demanding money before 12:30 a.m.

The man took off after taking the money and attempting to steal a customer’s car, police said.

A description of the robber was not immediately available. It was not clear how much money he got away with.

No one was injured during the robbery.
