Police executed four search warrants in connection with an ATM/credit card fraud.
Westerville police said that they arrested five people and seized two credit card encoders and one weapon.
According to police, the encoders were used to make fake credit cards out of gift cards. The cards were used to purchase cigarettes and other items, police said.
The Columbus Division of Police, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Secret Service and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement were involved in the sweep.
Westerville said that the five people arrested likely would face federal charges.
