Bond was set at $1 million on Thursday for a man accused of shooting and killing another man.

Timmy Stevens was taken into custody on Tuesday in Delaware County. He faces a murder charge.

Stevens, 29, of Chesterhill, was charged with shooting and killing John Davis III, 36, of Malta, on June 22.

Investigators said that the two men argued inside a car in McConnelsville, when Stevens allegedly shot Davis in the head three times.

A 2-year-old in the car with them was shot in the leg, according to the Morgan County Prosecutor's Office. The child was treated and released.

A 15-year-old girl and another woman were inside the car and were not injured.
