Police: Alcohol Suspected Factor In Deadly Wrong-Way Crash

Police said that they believed alcohol was a contributing factor to a deadly Wednesday morning crash.

According to police, a 26-year-old woman traveled the wrong way along Interstate 71 south, between the I-70 split and Greenlawn Avenue, when she crashed into Lora Hall's vehicle at about 2 a.m.

The unidentified driver was ejected onto the roadway. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Hall was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. The crash closed the road for several hours.
