The Casino Control Commission voted Wednesday to open the Hollywood Casino by Oct. 8.
The casino, located on the corner of Georgesville Road and West Broad Street, will bring thousands of jobs to central Ohio.
As many as 3,000 slot machines and 70 table games will be featured at the casino.
