A mother and father are charged after allegedly taking their children with them to steal car parts.
Chillicothe police arrested Adam Skaggs and Whitney Lowery after police said they were stealing tires and rims from a car dealership, located on Consumer Center Drive.
As the officers were arresting the couple, police said that they heard children crying. The couple’s 1- and 2-year-old children were found inside their vehicle.
Skaggs and Lowery face theft, criminal trespass and child endangerment charges.
The two children were placed in a family member’s custody.
